Looking for a fun family day out during school holiday from 6th - 14th September 2014, welovedayout has some suggestions to keep our active children busy with fun activities.
1. Families For Life Celebrations
Head out to our newly built Singapore Sports Hub on 13th and 14th September 2014 from 3pm - 9.30pm and look forward to a fun family day out with lots of FREE activities that include movie screenings, kayaking, rock climbing, Segway fun rides, exciting performances, lucky dips, carnival games and many more! 2. NEWater Visitor Center
This center offers FREE admission to everyone. We are able to learn the discovery of science behind water treatment. There are daily tours available and educational workshops too. There is also a waterwise arcade and a factory to explore for the young and curious children. Why not pay a visit to understand how we are able to have clean water everyday. For families who loves nature and wants to get away from the city centre. Kranji Countryside is definitely a fun place to explore. This area offers lots of different kinds of farms that you will never know they exist in Singapore. Have our children been up close to a live frog farm or seen different interesting marine life before? This countryside has so much more to offer. For non-drivers, there is a paid express bus service that brings families around the different farms to explore. Find out more about what Kranji Countryside has to offer.
4. Far East Organization Children's Garden

All children loves to have fun with water. At Children's Garden, families will have best of both worlds, the water play area and playground. Situated at Gardens By The Bay, families will have an awesome fun time at the Children's Garden. There is a 7.5m tall tree house for the young and adventurous to explore. At the programmable water play area, the sensors are able to detect the children's movement to create an impressive water effects as the children are enjoying themselves. 5. A Visit to our Fire Station

6. HSBC TreeTop Walk

Have you tried walking on a free-standing suspension bridge in Singapore? The HSBC TreeTop Walk (TTW) at MacRitchie is the first suspension bridge in Singapore and in the region. This suspension bridge connects Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang with a walkway of about 250m in length and 25m at the highest point. This is a one way walk bridge and it offers a fantastic view of the plants and animals living in the forest. This fun walk is a must do if your family is heading to MacRitchie for a day out. 7. Singapore Discovery Center
GOOD NEWS for Singaporeans and PRs. The center is offering FREE admission. For our wonderful tourists, the center is offering various affordable low prices starting from S$6.00 for a child from 3yrs - 12yrs old. This is truly not a boring discovery center as it offers lots of fun activities for the family. Pedal boating for the family, 4D simulator ride, shooting gallery, digital dance studio, a large flat-screen theatre featuring 2D and 3D giant screen movies and many more fun exhibits too.
