Breakfast at hotel |
Breakfast spread at Holiday Inn Resort |
Today we started with a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel. Much better than the dinner. Do remember to buy the breakfast vouchers from the front desk as the price will be different if you walk in without vouchers and children eat for free YEHHHH!
After breakfast, we crossed over from our hotel and took a long tail boat to Railay Beach. Each person costs 200 baht for the boat ride. Do arrange with the boat staff for the transfer back too.
Within 10 mins, we reached Railay Beach. We took a leisure walk to Diamond Cave to explore the stalactite and stalagmite formations. We had to pay 150 baht each adult but the children entered for free.
Diamond Cave |
It was totally not worth going. It was just a 300 meters loop and we couldn't spot anything interesting except for the cave bats and some limestone structures.
Shops leading to Railay Beach |
We headed back to the hotel for a good swim. The kids couldn't resist playing at the pool hahaha.
Krabi Town Night Market |
As it was weekend, we decided to spend the evening at the Krabi Town Night Market. The night market was bustling with tourists and locals too.
Looking at the dark clouds, rain was approaching. We were only there for 10 mins and it started to pour. Thank God it stop after a while so we could continue shopping.
Variety of food stalls at Krabi Town Night Market |
After all the shopping and snacking, we headed back to our suite to have a supper feast with our friends. Yup you heard me, eating non stop! Not forgetting our daily dose of alcohol beverages which were super cheap in Krabi.
Ps : there is a family mart just beside our hotel which was super convenient. If not there is a 7-eleven on the left side of the hotel which is a 3 minutes walk (Sorry forgot to take pictures hahaha)
